Video: Sun salutation can be easy.
Sun salutation is famouuuuuuus.
I think even people who are complete strangers to yoga have heard the words “sun salutation”. Or at least, some kind of salutation!
Truth is there are many different forms of sun salutations. There is also the moon salutation!
The sun salutation is great to free the joints, massages the digestive system, boosts the immune system and helps to improve flexibility (in the body, and maybe in the mind too???).
But remember that we all have a different, unique, body. This means there are
as many different sun salutations as there are people in the world.
Listen to your body, your breath, and enjoy.
You can find your own gentle sun salutation.
You can explore with how you feel in the different movements. You can take as much time as you want.
- breathe. Yes please!
- listen to your body.

- take your time, especially for the first salutation.
- stop trying to do the perfect movement.
And please stay kind to your body and show some
(a little bit)
- Don’t eat just before. Trust me.
- Have a soft surface, and comfortable clothing.
- Be in a quiet place so you are not disturbed.
- Don’t take yourself too seriously. Time to have fun too!
